What makes a successful business pitch or presentation? Research says that less than 10% is about WHAT we communicate. The rest is about HOW we communicate, most importantly whether we look confident and sound like we mean what we are saying. In this session you will learn some practical exercises to give you the foundations of great communication in business and beyond. We will explore how advanced techniques from performing arts can be combined with good business practice to bring career success, whichever path you choose.
Martyn Barmby's background is unique, being both a professional actor and having 10 years experience as a senior executive in the fields of consultancy and project management. He helps clients communicate at their best under pressure so that they can succeed at interviews, overcome fears of public speaking and sell with confidence.
