University of Portsmouth – Business Consultancy Project Awards and Networking Event
April 3, 2019 @ 4:15 pm - 7:30 pmFree
This event celebrates the successful completion of the Business Consultancy Projects, and recognises the commitment of local organisations and business people in providing projects and support to help our students develop important employability and life skills.
The Business Consultancy Projects involve small teams of students, from a range of business courses in our Faculty of Business and Law working, with local organisations to investigate specific business challenges or opportunities and produce practical solutions. Clients benefit from having a fresh set of minds, from diverse backgrounds, analysing your business challenge independently.
Our keynote speaker is Mr Faz Ahmed, a photography alumnus of Portsmouth University. He has been a business partner with the Akash Restaurant, Southsea for many years. Faz is renowned for flying 80 curries to France, over 500 miles away in the well-known Curry by Air event in 2018. He is a full Indian chef, a Trustee of Pompey in The Community, a local school governor, and is passionate about inspiring others to succeed.
If you have any interest in becoming involved with our Business Consultancy Projects, this is a great opportunity to hear about the benefits.
Come and join students, clients and our staff in the celebrating the success of Business Consultancy Projects.
